Artist Bio:

Brandon Scarabin was born in New Orleans, LA in 1985. He grew up in a rural area outside of the city, spending much of his childhood along the Mississippi river exploring the marshes and wetlands, fishing, hunting, etc. as well as helping out on the family farm. Out of these experiences developed an intense curiosity for the natural world which then grew into an interest in art; in creation. After graduating Brother Martin High School in 2003, he enrolled at Tulane University. In May 2008 he graduated from Tulane with a BFA in glass art. Brandon is currently working under Gene Koss at Tulane assisting with teaching and studio maintenance, as well as helping build the artist's personal work.
